Sidling up to Chopper’s bar to enjoy a classic or novel rum tiki drink while digging into chef Julio Hernandez’s spectacular empanadas, tacos and quesabirria, made using tortillas featuring heritage corn that Hernandez milled by hand into masa? It’s better than the quick kiss at the end of two hours of Hallmark. How good is Hernandez? James Beard-nominated good!
