I’m so glad popcorn tins don’t have the same negative gift-giver association as fruit cake. Nonetheless, there is a big difference between the Dollar Tree popcorn tins you buy as a last-minute gift for your aunt and actually good popping corn. Kernels is the real deal — you can see the staff making it right in front of you at their shop. The service is excellent as well; they always have time (and patience) for my child’s various questions about popcorn. We picked some up for Father’s Day, and it was a huge success.
