If dinnertime includes cuisine disagreements, The Wash is your silver bullet. While they’ve definitely got to fully cover the all-outdoor dining area (the high in Nashville is 70-plus degrees seven months of the year!), the food is sound. Peruvian, pho, Cuban, fried chicken — order it all to go and grab a cocktail at Bay 6 to wait. Enjoy your Sweeza quesadilla (with fries!) and SS Gai’s Gai Tod crispy chicken (with addictive tamarind chili fish sauce) at home in the A.C. Bonus: Their mission is great — to give chefs and owners who can’t or don’t want to invest heavily in a restaurant a permanent, conventional space to cook.
