Go ahead and laugh, but one of my favorite people in Nashville is a robot. (IYKYK.) When my husband and I eat at 615Chutney, which I’ll admit is very often, Niroop seats us in one of the half-booth-half-tables because those are the tables Singam the robot delivers food to. And I must have my food delivered by Singam, the food-serving robot. Sure, people are fine. I even like some of them. But a robot with electronic cat ears who meows as it rolls by, equipped with a torso of shelves full of curries and rice? That is the experience I crave.
