I never thought much about pretzels until Kim and Levon Wallace started selling them in 2020. Now I can’t get enough of them — and the FatBelly Pretzel Bakery & Deli location in East Nashville makes them a little too easy to get my hands on. Fatbelly’s signature pretzels are crispy and chewy, made even better when dipped into one of several delicious sauces. But for the Wallaces, a pretzel can be many different things — like a danish, cookie filling or vehicle to stuff delicious flavor combinations in. When pretzels can be utilized in so many forms and flavors, they never get old.
