One of the ongoing marvels of the way Nashville’s dining options have been evolving through the past couple of decades is the staggering array of options available. But the elusive part remains getting — for lack of better words — “the love” right. Dumpling House on Belcourt Avenue does exceptional dumplings, freshly made. (Pan-fried chicken coriander is the personal fave, but every variety has been exquisite so far.) But what they’ve mastered is “the love.” Long-term Nashvillians who’ve missed the je ne sais quoi of Taste of Tokyo, that unqualifiable vibe that makes a place feel right, already know that there is a gem in Hillsboro Village, exceptional dining with neighborhood-haunt ambience.
