I truly don’t know what parents on the West Side did before Bringle’s Smoking Oasis opened. The outdoor area is effectively a giant playpen where you can watch sports, pet dogs, eat brisket, smear mac-and-cheese on tables, meet new parent friends and, of course, do it all with a cocktail in hand. Now you can enjoy pop-ups on Snack Shack Saturdayzzz from folks like Red Perch and East Side Banh Mi, but whatever you do, don’t skip the Oasis’ jalapeño-cheddar sausage — which should probably have its own Best of Nashville moniker as the Tastiest Thing to Eat While Chasing Your Baby at Bringle’s.
