Venus & the Flytraps, aka Ceci Tomé and Brenna Kassis, released their fantastic Venus in Love EP in May and have been busy ever since. Between a record release show, plenty of opening gigs and not one but two sets at Bonnaroo, the duo has made itself impossible to ignore. For such a young band, Venus & the Flytraps have made it obvious that there’s no stopping their riot-grrrl-inspired musical chemistry. They definitely don’t make things worse together.
