Best Downtown Pizza Swaps in Nashville 2026: Frankies to The Arcade / Prince St. to 5th & Broad
Since Manny’s House of Pizza shuttered in 2023 after almost 40 years of slinging pies in The Arcade, downtown denizens have found themselves in a bit of a pizza desert. Outposts of Slim & Husky’s and Roberta’s relieved that itch with new spots at 5th + Broadway and The Arcade, but both of those closed after short stints. We have to give thanks that Frankies Pizzeria and Prince St. have slid into the same two open spaces to bring a slice of authentic New York pizza culture to downtown. If you like your pizza sauce spicy and your pepperoni “cupped,” this is a very positive development. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that they can stick around.
