Since Harding House shuttered their tiny taproom on 51st Avenue, The Nations wondered when they’d return. But we never expected it would benefit us twice over, as they’ve now become the anchor of L&L Market — a multi-use space that should work but has been plagued by constant turnover. Now HH has a big, spacious taproom that’s extremely kid-friendly — with soft serve! — a patio that’ll be packed this fall, and a full bar and food program that are good enough to stand on their own. If you haven’t tried Saap Saap’s mix of Southern barbecue and Lao food, start with the burger or dumplings.
