Best Summer Cocktail in Nashville 2026: Fortunate Sun’s Caipirinha
I’m a lightweight, so when I drink I want to make every sip worth it. That doesn’t always mean a cocktail with 15 ingredients (though those can be awesome). A caipirinha is a dead-simple concoction of lime muddled with sugar plus cachaça, a sugarcane liquor from Brazil that’s kind of like white rum but more complex. Fortunate Sun in East Nashville’s Lost & Found complex is one of few Nashville places where I’ve seen a caipirinha on the menu, and they don’t mess with what’s already perfect for sipping on a hot day. Look out: I might even be able to take down a couple in one sitting.
