Best Bar in Nashville 2026: The Fox Bar & Cocktail Club
Opened in 2017, East Nashville’s The Fox Bar & Cocktail Club has long had a reputation for top-shelf drinks and a cozy, tucked-away atmosphere. The establishment has seen some recent changes, but nevertheless remains a first-class spot for a drink with friends. Beverage director Ryan Barrentine (previously a Fox bartender) took over earlier this year, and the space’s relatively recent addition of an outdoor seating area makes for a lovely spot to enjoy a beverage on cool nights. The Fox offers a robust menu of tasty elevated bar bites and a diverse, creative drink menu that rotates seasonally, and you can always count on excellent versions of the classics. Over the summer, I personally fell in love with the One Hundred Percent Efficiency — a rum cocktail finished with mango-and-grapefruit foam that’s as gorgeous as it is refreshing. A decade in, The Fox is getting better and better.
