Best Fried Thing in Nashville 2026: Perfectly Fine’s Onion Petals
Everyone waxes rhapsodic about the Bloomin’ Onion at Outback. For me, it was Chili’s Awesome Blossom, which was tragically discontinued in 2008 after being labeled one of the unhealthiest restaurant appetizers in America. (Um, duh? That’s why it was awesome.) Perfectly Fine offers a slightly classier but just as craveable riff with onion petals deep-fried in salty, crunchy batter, served with a creamy, piquant remoulade for dipping. Every time I drive by this spot in The Nations, I want them, and many days, my inner child gets just what she wants.
