Nashville Rep pulled out every trick in the virtual book back in November with the premiere of its offbeat Little Hollow, Tennessee. Created by the artists of the Rep’s New Works 615 (led by Nashville Rep artistic associate Erica Jo Lloyd and playwright-in-residence Nate Eppler), the ambitious digital project delivered a wild assortment of virtual exhibits for a fictional museum, introducing us to a host of small-town scandals and legends. Offering everything from an interactive map and timeline to outrageous commentary and reenactments from local “historians,” Little Hollow offers the “absolutely true story of a completely made-up place.”
