Brassville at Exit/In, 7/17/2021
One thing we’ve been reminded of time and again in 2021 is how much the in-person live music experience means to fans and musicians alike. No ensemble gives off that electric spark of joy quite like Brassville, a brass band made up of TSU alumni MarVelous Brown, Marcus Chandler, Derrick Green, Larry Jenkins, Jonathon Neal, Nate McDowell, Adrian Pollard and Rashad Sylvester. After little more than a year as a unit, they’ve become ubiquitous in Music City, bringing their world-class can’t-help-but-dance groove to festivals, clubs, studio sessions and more.
