Before moving to New York and appearing on nearly every funny show on TV — Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, Difficult People, Broad City and High Maintenance, just to name a few — John Early called Nashville home. He attended University School of Nashville as a kid, and worked summers at Las Paletas in 12South. No doubt growing up in the South helped him perfect some of his most hilarious characters — like “Vicky,” the sassy, denim-obsessed Christian housewife with a Kate Gosselin haircut.
