Before moving to New York and appearing on nearly every funny show on TV — Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, Difficult People, Broad City and High Maintenance, just to name a few — John Early called Nashville home. He attended University School of Nashville as a kid, and worked summers at Las Paletas in 12South. No doubt growing up in the South helped him perfect some of his most hilarious characters — like “Vicky,” the sassy, denim-obsessed Christian housewife with a Kate Gosselin haircut. When you see him portraying gay narcissist Elliott Goss in the second season of Search Party, which returns to TBS in November, you can yell, “Hey, that guy sold me an avocado popsicle!” and impress all your pals.
