For its 48th annual installment, the Nashville Film Festival hightailed out of its longtime home at the Regal Green Hills 16 in April for a more spacious venue down the road at the Regal Hollywood 27. While it was easy to miss the cozy confines of the old location, the transition to the Thompson Lane megaplex went off without a hitch. The move meant more screens, more seats, more show times, more movies — NaFF easily benefited from a looser edit. CORY WOODROOF
