Presented at Looby Theater in August 2016, Street Theatre Company’s production of this sharp-edged satirical musical just missed the cutoff for last year’s Best of Nashville issue. We acknowledge it now, with kudos to Jason Tucker’s direction, which managed to be both controlled and freewheeling, and an inspired cast of 18 who smartly embraced the provocative story of a water shortage and its rueful socioeconomic impact.
