Best Brewery Expansion

Turtle Anarchy was pretty silent for the five months following their departure from their original Franklin-based brewing facility. Flagship beers slowly disappeared from taps across the city, and the buzz of a new location faded away. Fortunately, this year brought news of a Nations-based operation kicking into high gear after a lengthy build, and by March, Turtle Anarchy re-entered the market larger than ever. Securing a new partnership with local distributor R.S. Lipman Co., Turtle Anarchy shifted from modest microbrewery to one of the largest contract brewers in the region, creating their own delicious beer alongside Lipman’s own brands, including Hap & Harry’s and Napa Smith Brewery. Expanding from 5,000 square feet to 28,000 is no small feat, and Turtle Anarchy took the time to verify that their return would be one for the books. As the proverb says, slow and steady may have won the race. MATT FOX
