It’s not often that a piece of theater really catches me off guard. But that was certainly the case with Verge Theater’s daring production of White Rabbit Red Rabbit in January. Featuring a different actor at every performance — with each actor stepping up to offer a cold read of Nassim Soleimanpour’s thought-provoking script — WRRR took us all out of our comfort zones, in the best possible way. Exploring tough themes surrounding life, death, free will and individual responsibility, it’s just the sort of fascinating work we’ve come to expect from the good folks at Verge.
