Maya Antoinette Riley is certainly no newcomer to the local arts scene. In fact, this Nashville native has been performing since the age of 9. But since graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she’s been on a real roll, turning in strong performances at the Rep, Studio Tenn, Nashville Shakes, NCT and more. This season alone, she soared in the title role in Aida, took a big, delicious bite out of The Cake, and grooved her way through the galaxy in Hip Hop Cinderella. No doubt about it, this promising young artist is definitely going places.
