When the pandemic hit and coffee shops all over town shut down, Skye Kaericher got industrious. She founded the appropriately named Crisis Cold Brew, and started making and delivering tasty cold brew to folks who contacted her through her Instagram account (@crisiscoldbrew). Even as coffee-peddling shops and restaurants began to reopen, Kaericher continued to grow her business, upgrading to a fancy website (crisiscoldbrew.com), subscription offers and a concentrated-brew option in addition to the ready-to-drink stuff — and doing it all with safe, contact-free delivery. Lately Crisis has been offering a Guatemala Hunapu brew made with beans from Osa Coffee Roasters, a local company based out of Edgehill Village. Tasty rocket fuel delivered straight to your door.
