There’s one dish at Miel that always delivers: braised pork shoulder gnocchi. The pork is tender, the arugula is peppery, and the house-pulled mozzarella melts just slightly in the decadent pork jus. But the star of the show is the Parisienne gnocchi. Originally, I thought that was just a pretentious way to talk about gnocchi, but it actually means the gnocchi are made with the same batter used to make friggin’ eclairs, so it puffs up into delightful little pillows for your pork to rest on.
