The food at EiO & The Hive is fresh and flavorful, but everyone’s saying it wrong, likely because pronouncing it right feels even dumber. Say it “E-I-O,” which stands for “everything is organic,” and I assume is meant to evoke “Old MacDonald Had a Farm.” Honestly, I’m pissed we even have to unpack this. But their rotisserie chicken with Thai coconut curry is worth its $28 price, and the cured/smoked salmon plate is light and satisfying. Plus, it’s nice to have a healthy food restaurant on Charlotte Pike at the West Nashville nexus of hot chicken and tacos — even if we don’t want to speak its name. ASHLEY BRANTLEY
