Rich, spicy, creamy Cajun food is well worth any price in my book, but at Yat’s in Cool Springs, you can get hearty, plate-buckling portions of chili-cheese etouffée with crawfish, chicken maque choux and the like for under 10 bucks. Owner Joe Vuskovich hails from New Orleans, so he comes by these bold flavors naturally. We’re just praying he migrates one county to the north for his next restaurant. NANCY FLOYD
