Best Brewery Taproom (Downtown)

“Tart, tropical, lightly bittered.” Tennessee Brew Works describes their Walk the Lime beer better than I ever could, because they know what they’re making: interesting, accessible, drinkable beer that’s informed by local tradition and ingredients. Their food is better than any brewery’s needs to be (frogs legs, Baba Ganoush, housemade charcuterie), and their pâté is exceptional: creamy, luscious, a little funky, served with pickles. It single-handedly turned me around on chicken liver and pâté, and if there’s a better bite with a cold beer, I haven’t had it. ASHLEY BRANTLEY
