Caroline Conner is by no means a newcomer. This busy Nashville native and Belmont University grad has been performing (and now teaching) at Third Coast Comedy for years, and has racked up some solid credits with the Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Circle Players and more. But this season has been particularly strong, as Conner returned to Nashville Shakes this summer, delivering a delightfully unhinged Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And her portrayal of the sharp, supremely self-assured Claudia in Actors Bridge Ensemble’s Honourproved that this promising young artist also has a serious gift for drama.
