A driving force in the local arts scene for nearly 20 years, Geoff Davin still has the ability to charm — and occasionally surprise — audiences. This season found him playing everything from a murderous mystery writer (Deathtrap) to a playboy bachelor (Boeing, Boeing), and even a preening Pontius Pilate (Jesus Christ Superstar). He also recently premiered his own new indie film (which he wrote, starred in and directed), cheekily titled Aliens Are Coming! On Monday!!! But it was his take on Turkie — the foul-mouthed killer bird in Street Theatre’s campy ThanksKilling the Musical — that had everyone talking. “Gobble, gobble, motherfucker!”
