Best Multimedia Exhibition in Nashville 2026: Sai Clayton: 'Blood on My Hands, Fish in My Veins' at RADAR615
To local art lovers, the RADAR615 gallery space is revered. To artists, it is mostly just daunting — the vaulted ceilings and plentiful wall space is an overwhelming spot to fill. It’s extra impressive, then, that Sai Clayton pulled off one of the best exhibitions of the year this summer with all new work. Family photos were enlarged and covered in transparent fabric that had been embroidered with pop-cultural iconography, and pages from a sketchbook were installed into a grid. The theme of overlapping narratives and conflicting family archives offers rich terrain to explore, and an artist as capable as Clayton makes that exploration feel like fun, too.
