Last season, while the Titans took a downturn from their three-year stretch of legitimate contender status, defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons kept plugging away as one of the most game-changing forces in the NFL. Despite missing a pair of games due to injury, Simmons set new career highs for tackles and pass deflections, racked up 7.5 sacks and, perhaps most importantly, paved the way for Tennessee’s other trench behemoths to wreak havoc. Simmons is constantly double-teamed by opposing linemen, opening up pathways for Denico Autry and Teair Tart to reach the quarterback. The two-time All-Pro remains the centerpiece of the Titans defense.
