It should have been a sign that great things were on the horizon when Ryan Stonehouse, an undrafted rookie, beat out three-time Pro-Bowler Brett Kern for the Tennessee Titans punter position in training camp last year. But no one expected the Colorado State product to immediately become one of the league’s most effective special-teams weapons. In his first season as a Titan, Stonehouse broke the NFL record for punting average and led the league in punting yards on his way to being named an All-Pro. Not bad for an undrafted rookie.
