The first perk of this trail is that you never, ever have to wait for parking. (Radnor Lake is beautiful, but I am not trying to wait 30 minutes to park for a walk.) The Couchville Lake Trail, which is part of Long Hunter State Park, is just over two miles of paved trail looping around a small lake. Here you can also access the Nature Loop Trail, with a StoryWalk trail that has pages of a book on placards throughout the walk. And just across the parking lot is the Bryant Grove Trail, which is a little more rugged and runs four miles along the edge of Percy Priest Lake. It’s a one-way trail, so plan for enough time if you want to take it in and all the way out for the full eight-mile, out-and-back hike.
