Printing things isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card! Nashville Public Library gave all cardholders a $10 monthly printing allowance (good for 100 black-and-white pages or 40 color pages) earlier this year, providing a key service for people who rely on branch computers to apply for jobs, housing or other needs. They’ve also launched the Library of Things, where members can check out musical instruments, craft supplies, kitchen items and other non-book things. It’s exciting to see a library try out new things to serve its community — check it out!
