Located at 607 Overton St., this two-level structure is home to Spanish tapas restaurant The Iberian Pig. As seen now, it’s difficult to fathom that the building previously housed Colt’s Chocolates. Property owner MarketStreet Enterprises and Castellucci Hospitality Group (which owns The Iberian Pig) had Atlanta-based Smith Hanes Studio give the building a second floor, new windows, a set of stairs and a major color-palette change. In addition, the building now offers various Spanish language words and phrases (in yellow), including “Comidas por Encargo” (food on request) and “cava” (cellar). A tasteful and distinctive new appearance indeed.
