Chef Tandy Wilson can basically do no wrong in the eyes of Nashville diners, but his two restaurant ventures outside of City House were unfortunate victims of circumstance. His Collo Rosso casual pizza spot in West Virginia was supposed to be the first in a new empire of restaurants, including some Nashville locations, but it landed with a bit of a thud. Wilson was a partner in Kuchnia & Keller, the massive Eastern European-themed establishment around the corner from City House. It proved too obscure for Nashvillians’ tastes, lasting less than a year. The ever-optimistic Wilson has taken over the K&K space with his new casual Southern eatery, Mop/Broom Mess Hall, and we’re excited! CHRIS CHAMBERLAIN
