Best Burger

While every other restaurant in town anchors its menu with a Big Ass Burger™ topped with maple bacon, whiskey onions or maple-bacon-whiskey-onions, Bare Bones blessedly bucks the trend. Two griddled patties are stacked on a squishy bun with gooey American cheese, tart pickles, zingy onions, mustard and mayo. It’s simple because it can be: Bare Bones’ beef is superb, and they want you to taste it. Eating one at their cozy bar — garage doors open, draft beer in hand — makes for a pretty nice little Saturday. ASHLEY BRANTLEY
