Hillsboro Village’s ongoing facelift takes no prisoners, and the latest entry on Old Nashville’s epitaph is Sportsman’s Grille. As one of the last untouched respites in the neighborhood, Sportsman’s was a dive bar without the gruff. The two floors of hunting-themed decor had the flexibility to accommodate eaters for a quick bite as easily as the last stop of a late night out. As another institution gets ousted by development, pour out a couple of drinks in Sportsman’s memory from wherever you now go for two-for-ones. MATT FOX
