In our search for Nashville’s best toast-related dish, we kept coming back to two menu items. Luckily for us, they’re both served at the same establishment. Just about everything at East Nashville’s Cafe Roze is worth trying, thanks to an inventive menu from chef Julia Jaksic, but don’t skip the Country Ham Toast and the Smoked Trout Toast. The former is served at breakfast, topped with a soft scrambled egg and Parmesan, while the latter features thinly sliced radishes, lemon and chives.
