In its final season under the helm of outgoing board president Eric Ventress, ACT I mounted consistently interesting (Anna in the Tropics), engagingly funny (Absurd Person Singular) and flat-out hilarious (Sordid Lives) productions that showcased both veteran and newer local stage talent, but also encouraged the vision of directors such as Paige Hall, Lane Wright and Dave McGinnis.
