Gadabout Theater Company may be only a couple years old, but they’ve zeroed in on what makes live theater fun. In Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, a troupe of 16 actors performed 30 short plays in 60 minutes (give or take) — relying on the audience for inspiration and, sometimes, as part of the performance. Not only was Gadabout’s take on Greg Allen’s neo-futurist classic entertaining, it engaged every single person in the house — from the front row to the balcony of The East Room — for three sold-out performances of meat-slapping, vodka-swilling, unpredictable mayhem.
