Salvo’s — which now also has some locations under its Taste of New York moniker — has been doing pizza in town for a long time, and its location in Hermitage is cozy and family-friendly. It’s not a great spot for a big group, but it’s the perfect place to take our family of three for New York-style pizza and garlic knots without having to head to a busier part of town. And the desserts — cannoli, cakes, tiramisu — are nothing to sneeze at either.
