No longer sharing a wok with TKO, Mr. Aaron’s has leveled up by taking over the full East Nashville space when TKO closed earlier this year. Now owner Aaron Distler and company serve the best breakfast bagels in town. They’ve got your plain, poppy and sesame, but also fun pizza bagel and jalapeño cheddar options. Give the bacon-egg-and-cheese a go, but a personal favorite is the lox with perfect, thinly sliced tomato, onion and cucumber, as well as capers and a hearty schmear. Get a dozen to go and be the office hero, or stop in for breakfast — and grab some good fresh pasta for dinner.
