Breweries continue to open in Nashville at a rapid rate, and there seems to be little slowing down their growth (not even White Claw). That rapid growth isn’t a bad thing, but if you’re looking for something just a little different, consider checking out some of the other novel fermented beverage producers popping up around town. Diskin Cidery in Wedgewood-Houston has been open just a little more than a year, but they’ve already become a popular hang for those seeking a beer alternative, thanks to their fresh-pressed craft ciders and frequent live music. On the East Side, Honeytree Meadery has established its own little honey hole, serving exotic meads crafted from the honey of bees raised in apiaries in various neighborhoods around Nashville.
