Operating a bar doesn’t have to be that complicated. Leah Spivey-McCormick has figured that out at SandBar Nashville, her seasonal beach bar in ONEC1TY. Operating with a lean staff and stripped-down menu, she simply gives the people what they want: tropical drinks made with fresh juices served in hollowed-out coconuts, pineapples or watermelons, cold beers, an open, dog-friendly patio and sand courts to play league or pickup volleyball.
