Best Breakfast Sandwich

How do you make the perfect breakfast sandwich? I’ll tell you. You start with an expertly toasted house-made bun, top it with exquisitely fluffy scrambled eggs — loads of ’em — add a fresh slice of tomato or two, some arugula and a small amount of good mayo (but not too much, as you don’t want squirtage). Then you slather it with the sinfully delicious sweet-and-salty combo of bacon jam to add a depth of flavor otherwise unheard of in a simple breakfast sandwich. At least that’s how Dose does it, and that works just fine for me. NANCY FLOYD
