Though the Nashville dining scene has improved exponentially in recent years, Music City will likely never have a top-flight sushi restaurant, due to our landlocked status. But when I am craving some raw fish, I head to Two Ten Jack. Their selection isn’t the widest, and their nigiri sushi pieces are neither the cheapest nor the biggest in town, but their fish is consistently the freshest and most delicate I’ve tasted — and frankly, when it comes to raw fish, I’m more concerned with quality than bang for the buck. And regardless, the chirashi sushi — eight pieces ($18) or 12 pieces ($24) atop a bowl of rice — is a solid deal.
