Their pie is delicious, yes — the crust is flaky, and sweet and savory fillings alike are rich without being overwhelming — but what makes The Loving Pie Company the best pie place in town is that they’re so goddamn fun. During Shark Week they sell shark-themed pies (the Great Berrier Reef — haha!), and every Saturday is Showtunes Saturday, where they promise not to laugh if you badly sing along. They also have Cheerwine floats, coffee drinks including the You Go Glen Coco (a delicious Mean Girls-themed coconut iced mocha) and a flight of hot chocolate.
