Best Lunchtime Driving Risk

There’s nothing like risking life and limb for a salad. That said, I’d risk just about anything for Calypso’s light vinaigrette dressing. Last year, Calypso put my assertion to the test by moving to Charlotte Avenue, where it sits on a hill with no southbound turn lane — making your arrival the most dangerous driving stunt you’re likely to pull en route to stuffing your face with loaded nachos. The new interior is bright, open and large, however. And if you can get there in one piece, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most consistent lunch spots in town.
