Best Power-Pop Album in Nashville 2026: Sour Ops, Bikers Make Better Lovers
Led by singer, guitarist and songwriter Price Harrison, Sour Ops released their debut album Family Circuit in 2018. On their 2026 release Bikers Make Better Lovers, Harrison — who is also an architect, photographer and videographer — joins drummer Steve Ebe and bassist Tony Frost on a set of hard-driving power-pop tunes that recall the work of The Cars and The Knack. Harrison sings about the way the world can turn your dreams sour, as on the standout track “Be My Secret.” Bikers sports immaculately recorded guitars and hints of synthesizer, and Nashville pedal-steel master Paul Niehaus makes an appearance on “All That Matters Now,” another ace tune.
