Best Minor League Moment in Nashville 2026: Thomas Pannone’s Perfect Game
Thomas Pannone’s perfect game leads off a fountain of great sports news from the Nashville Sounds. Pannone, 32, has been in and out of the majors, battling through short-term contracts as a crafty left-hander. He made history on Sept. 7 with a perfect game — no hits, no walks, no bases allowed at all — for the Sounds. Twenty-seven batters up, twenty-seven down. The team regularly puts on a show at First Horizon Park, prepping players for the Milwaukee Brewers, the best franchise in baseball this season, adding a winner’s shine to a city in need of something to cheer for.
